Interesting Facts: This eucalyptus variety is preferred by many aromatherapists because it is softer than Eucalyptus Globulus while maintaining the same well-being properties.

Eucalyptus radiata has less eucalyptol (about 70%) with terpineol and other alcohols and some monoterpenes. Its composition is closer to that of the Melaleucas, and like them it is a good immuno- stimulant, good for people who are tired, run down, prone to frequent cold, etc.

The oil and leaves of Eucalyptus are a traditional folk remedy of Australia, with the leaves of the tree being smoked like tobacco to improve asthmatic conditions. Eucalyptus Radiata Oil is even effective as an insect repellent.
