Welcome to our new format! This is not only the first newsletter of 2008, but our first newsletter available anytime on the web. We will be archiving all of our newsletters from now on so you can retrieve any information, coupons, etc.. as well as share with friends. On the same page we will now be adding daily the latest health news and pertinent articles. You will also be able to submit timely articles for publication on that page. This will be a lengthy newsletter due to our rundown of 2007!

Remembering 2007
2007 was a landmark year for us as well as many of our readers. Everyone I have spoken with had a terrible year and are very glad it is over. I would have to agree. As many of you know we had a rough year. In May 2007 we lost our home and warehouse as well as our 3 employees lost their homes to flooding. We temporarily moved both the business and myself and our kids to Wichita, KS and my husband stayed behind to clean up the mess. Our family was separated for 3 months. I really want to take a moment right now and thank all of you who prayed, sent donations, positive words and notes of encouragement. We would not have made it without you. My employees could not work and did not have the resources to immediately relocate. I kept them on payroll and ran the business myself.
In July we found out our merchant account was not as secure as we would like it and I cancelled it as well as refunding a large amount of orders. We had to go on a check only basis for the remainder of the year. I still could not find a secure enough merchant account.
In September we back home into our new house and local warehouse. We assumed we could get back on track immediately but internet and utilities took 3 weeks. Again, I want to thank everyone for their patience. Our employees gave notice because they had no choices but to move out of state. So I have been running everything myself again.
Add a few drops of your favorite essential oils to all of your cleaning products, so you can smell them all the time. Plus it makes housework less of a drag!
January 2008
We moved our Bella Mira warehouse from Lehi, UT to Missouri. This allows me to be in closer contact with our second warehouse and keep shipping charges reasonable. This also allowed family to help so we have been able to lower some prices, bring on new essential oils and Bella Mira Essential Oil branded products.
We also decided to use Google Checkout because the charge reasonable rates so we can keep our prices low. Also this allows double security. Right now you will have to checkout with our shopping cart and then again with Google's cart. In about a month we will be able to fix that and you will have smooth transition using only our cart.

Looking Forward To 2008!
This is going to be an exciting year! We will be bringing on new Bella Mira Products, Oils, Blends, Perfumes, Hair and Body Care, Supplements and more. We will bring more, accessible cutting edge essential oil information, recipes and ideas.
We will be bringing on new essential oil carrying cases, beautiful burled walnut essential oil displays, new probiotics, pet products, and much more.
I also plan to finish my tabbed referenced essential oil Bible complete with veterinary section. Bella Mira Essential Oils have been referenced by Valerie Immus, PETA, Skindeep, and many essential oil blogs and journals. We very proud to be the first PETA certified vegan essential oils. We hate animal testing and would never test any of our products on animals. Most consumers assume all essential oils are vegan. This may not be the case, as most essential oil companies use impure essential oils or raw materials that are cut with who knows what. We know every one of our farmers and wholesalers and insure by full spectrum gas chromatograph that our oils are uncut, pure, free of chemicals, pesticides, fungicides and any animal by-product.

This
protein packed super delicious snack cake is great for an after-school pick me
up, mid-afternoon power punch, the go or delicious indulgence! For a super
higher power meal on the go enjoy with Zanzibar Cinnamon Milk below! The recipe
coverts fine to a vegan recipe by using margarine, egg replacer, 1-2 scoops rice
or soy protein instead of milk. Everyone that has ever tried this cake loves it.
It has been in my family for 4 generations. Of Course I changed it a lot!

2 cups drained cooked organic pinto beans 1 free range organic egg Mash beans with bean liquid in bowl until
smooth; set aside.
Cream butter and sucanat in bowl until
light and fluffy. Add egg, vanilla and beans; mix well. Add mixture of
dry ingredients; mix well. Fold in raisins, apples and walnuts.
Pour into 9 inch square baking pan sprayed
with nonstick cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until
cakes tests done. Cool on wire rack. .
Never tell your kids it has beans in it, just tell them it contains magical fruit! Or they may not even try it. Picky eaters! |

Free Mystery Spice Snack Cake
 Zanzibar
Cinnamon Milk (Serves 4)2/3 cup raw organic almonds 4 soft organic fresh dates 4 cups distilled water 1 drop cinnamon oil 4 drops orange oil Remove pits from dates. Soak almonds and dates in 2 cups water overnight. Blend with remaining water until homogenized. Add cinnamon and orange oils, then sieve in a mesh strainer. Chill. Wonderfully refreshing. Quickie Variations: Use Almond Breeze Unsweetened Original or Organic Coconut milk equally diluted and banana and pineapple for an island smoothie! |
