Fighting off germs is a necessary step when it comes to staying healthy.  Chase away colds and ease the pain of sore throats caused by colds with the all-natural use of vinegar.  Vinegar is all natural so there are no side effects as with the use of prescription or over the counter cold medications.  Most of these medications have side effects that make you drowsy which is hard to take when you have little children to care for, also people with heart trouble, high blood pressure and other illnesses should not take any of these over the counter medications without first consulting their health care provider.  Vinegar is all-natural and has no side effects.

Chase away a cold by using vinegar as an alternative method to over the counter medications.  Mix one-quarter cup of apple cider vinegar with one-quarter cup of honey.  Take the entire mixture to fight off a cold and all its symptoms.  This vinegar mixture can be taken up to eight times a day.

Another effective way to chase away a cold with the use of vinegar is to follow these steps:  The first step is to cut an eight-inch square from a brown paper bag such as a lunch bag.  Soak the brown paper in apple cider vinegar until it is saturated.  Remove the brown paper from the apple cider vinegar and sprinkle one side of it with pepper.  Next step is to bind the brown paper (with the pepper side against the skin) to the chest with cloth strips.  Keep the brown paper in place for about twenty minutes.  After twenty minutes remove the paper and wash the chest with warm water taking great care not to get chilled.  This method is great if you can take some time and lie down for the twenty minutes that the brown paper is working.

At times we get a dry cough that is very different than one associated with a cold or flu.  This cough can be very dry and incredibly nagging but could be relieved with the use of vinegar.  Soothe the cough by sprinkling the pillowcase with apple cider vinegar.  You will clear up that dry hacking cough with one simple step and with a very cheap method.

Relieve a low-grade fever by mixing four tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to a gallon of drinking water.  You could drink up to a gallon of this vinegar mixture a day to reduce your fever and have you feeling fine in no time at all.

Three different methods are available when it comes to relieving the pain of a sore throat all of them are very effective in relieving sore throat pain:

1. First method of soothing a sore throat is to mix one-quarter cup of honey with one-quarter cup of vinegar.  Take one tablespoon of this mixture every four hours or as needed.  You can take this mixture more often than every four hours if more relief is needed.

2. Second method of easing a sore throat is easy and as effective as the first method.  Take a glass of warm water and add one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to it.  Gargle the warm water mixture to soothe the sore throat pain.  Repeat this method as often as necessary to keep your throat pain free.

3. Third method available to ease the discomfort of a sore throat is as follows:  make a syrup using one-half cup of apple cider vinegar, one-half cup of water, one teaspoon cayenne pepper and three tablespoons of honey.  Get speedy relief of your sore throat by occasionally sipping this syrupy mixture.

You have many options when it comes to fighting germs and relieving cold symptoms.  The use of vinegar is very inexpensive and effective in curing and soothing colds and sore throats with out all the problems with the side effects that other over the counter cold medications offer you.  So keep a bottle of vinegar on hand for when a cold or sore throat arises.

Having a cold and all the symptoms can be such a drag.  If you are like me you probably hate to get out of bed and wish you could just sleep the cold away.  But in the real world life does not work that way.  Taking cold medications just might not be an option for many of us since most cold medications has side affects that have an effect on the way we function.

Many can cause drowsiness, which could limit the amount of physical activities that we do in the day.  The next time you get cold symptoms such as a stuffy nose, running nose, watering eyes, sore throat and other unwanted symptoms that you do not want to take medication for but wish there was something that could relieve the symptoms without causing any side effects.

If you have been being bothered by a cough, nasal congestion, and other flu like symptoms do to the common cold or allergies, than you just may want to try a very, very inexpensive solution to help eliminate or limit these symptoms.  A vinegar mixture just may be the cure that you are looking for.  For just a few cents you can have a great working cold medication that is much cheaper then most common cold medications available on the market.  Take a mixture of one-quarter cup of vinegar and one-quarter cup of honey.  Mix these two ingredients together to make a syrupy mixture.

You will need to drink all of the mixture to help relieve the symptoms of a common cold.  This type of mixture may be taken up to eight times of day.  This mixture works well in fighting off common cold symptoms but unlike the medications available on the market you will not have the side affects that comes along with them.  This is a great and inexpensive way to fight off your cold symptoms.  I found that if I heat the vinegar and honey mixture for just a few seconds in the microwave then you would have a warm and soothing drink.

Many times you may have a sore throat that stands alone without the cold symptoms that you are trying to ease.  A sore throat may be the only symptom that you experience which can be soothed with vinegar.  To soothe a sore throat first you must take one teaspoon of vinegar and mix it with a glass of water.  After mixing the ingredients together simply take the mixture and gargle.  After gargling the solution you should swallow it.

I know the vinegar mixture doesn’t taste very good so to help you swallow this mixture simply put one teaspoon of honey into the mixture and stir.  The honey will help the mixture taste more appealing so after you are done gargling you can swallow the mixture without any terrible taste.

Many cold medications can cost a small fortune so making a cold medication out of vinegar is a more reasonable solution.  We never seem to have cold medications on hand since colds seems to come at odd times and when we are least expecting them.  You can always be prepared since most homes have vinegar on hand in their kitchen pantry.

I use this cold remedy all the time since I would much rather use something more natural rather than medications and over the counter drugs especially on my children.  Using vinegar and honey to help ease our colds is a must in our house since I do not want my children having any kind of side effects that could take place when taking over the counter medications.

If your symptoms seem to last for more than a few days you may want to go to your family doctor to make sure the symptom are not more than just a simple cold.  Same it true if you have a sore throat.  Most sore throats will be just a small irritation but if the problem persists then it may be something more serious.

In today’s world we want try to eliminate as much medications as possible.  Using an all-natural alternative to heal and prevent illnesses is much more appealing to people living today.  The side effects that some medications can cause could be much more severe than the illness itself.

Symptoms from a common cold are just one illness that can be relieved by an all-natural substance such as vinegar.  That is right something so inexpensive as vinegar can relieve symptoms that come along with a common cold.  So if you want to join millions of other individuals that are choosing to go all natural try this alternative method for treating a common cold then try mixing one-quarter cup apple cider vinegar with one-quarter cup of honey.  To relieve the symptoms cause by the common cold take the entire mixture of apple cider vinegar and honey.  To help fight off the cold and get relief from the symptoms you can take the mixture up to eight times a day.  With this easy and inexpensive mixture of vinegar and honey you will create a cold medication that will relieve your symptoms with out making you drowsy, as most over the counter cold medications will leave you feeling.

If you suffer reoccurring sinus problem and hate the side effects that over the counter medications and prescriptions drug cause than switch to an all-natural chemical free way of relieving the symptoms.  Relieve sinus pressure and pain by adding one fourth of a cup to a half of a cup of vinegar to your vaporizer.  If you do not own a vaporizer than you can also add one fourth of a cup to a half of a cup of vinegar to a pan of steaming water for the same relief that you would get with a vaporizer.  Use this same method when your allergies act up in the spring and fall.  You can choose a vinegar vapor to relieve sinus flare-ups instead of chemical medications that can have reactions such as drowsiness and other likely side effects.

A sore throat can be a agonizing and a real nuisance.  You can try soothing your sore throat with medications or use an all-natural solution such as gargling with a glass of water mixed with a teaspoon of vinegar.  You can swallow the mixture of vinegar and water after you gargle.  Add a little honey to add a sweet taste, which will make it easy to gargle and swallow.  Your throat will be feeling better in no time at all.  A sore throat can hit you at the worse time but you will not have to worry about running out in the middle of the night to find some soothing solution when the answer to your problem is right in the pantry cabinet which is a teaspoon of vinegar mixed in to a glass of water and an added touch of honey for taste.

If suffering the symptoms from a common cold is not bad enough along comes a low-grade fever.  Adding vinegar to your drinking water has become a very effective way of eliminating the low-grade fever that may become present in chronic fever sufferers.  Simply add four tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to a gallon of drinking water.  You can drink up to one gallon of this apple cider vinegar water mix a day, which will fight, off your fever.

Quickly cure an upset stomach with the use of vinegar.  If your hit with an upset stomach try drinking two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar mixed with one cup of water this will relieve you of your upset stomach in no time at all.  Keep in mind that the water can be warmed for a more comforting drink.
