Apple cider vinegar should be used for anything personal, both inside and outside the body.  Do not use white distilled vinegar because it can take essential minerals from your body.

Used as a hair rinse, vinegar neutralizes alkali left by shampoos.  If you color your own hair, rinse with warm water and then dilute white vinegar with cold water and this will seal your color so that it does not fade out as quickly.  To help get rid of dandruff as well as the other stuff that accumulates in your hair from shampoos and conditioners, use one fourth cup of apple cider vinegar in a tub of water and soak your hair in it.  Vinegar can also help when children get head lice.  Take warm vinegar and put it on the hair, dip a nit comb in vinegar to help remove nits.  It is supposed to be able to break down the glue that the nits use to stay attached.

Mix equal parts of onion juice and vinegar and use it daily on age spots.  It will take a few weeks to work, just like the expensive brands from the store.  If you get rashes or pimples after shaving, use a little apple cider vinegar as aftershave.

Make your own facial toner using one half water to one half vinegar and a few aspirin.  The acid in the vinegar forces old skin cells to flake off much as the store brand does.  An aspirin can help with acne.  Many acne products use salicylic acid, which is basically aspirin.  To make a rinse water for your face, pour 1/8 cup of vinegar in your rinse water, rinse your face and let it air dry.  This will seal moisture in your skin.

Nail polish will go on smoother and stay on longer if you clean your nails with white vinegar before applying it.

Try white vinegar on underarms and other areas of the body as a natural deodorant.  This will not stop you from perspiring, but it will help neutralize any odor.

Splash vinegar on your varicose veins, this is something you should try if you have problems with painful veins!  The vinegar reduces the veins and relieves pain and swelling.

Add one half cup of vinegar to your warm bath water and you will get double the effects.  You will have softer skin and clean the bathtub with less work.  The vinegar will soften your skin as well as deodorize the bathtub.

For cleaning dentures, leave your dentures in vinegar for as long as you would leave them in a denture cleanser, about fifteen minutes to half an hour or longer.  Then brush them thoroughly.  Your dentures will be cleaner and whiter than ever before. Vinegar also makes a great eyeglass cleaner.  Mix white vinegar half and half with water.  Keep a tiny spray bottle handy for whenever you need to clean your glasses.

Remove cooking smells from your hands by rinsing with vinegar and then wash thoroughly with soap and water.  Smooth a little vinegar on dried skin to help it heal. Vinegar promotes skin health; rub it on tired, sore or swollen areas.  To make a good liniment, beat one whole egg, add one-cup vinegar and one-cup turpentine and then blend.

Vinegar naturally helps remove fat from the body; apple cider vinegar is especially good for this.  Drink some in a glass of water a few times a day and add a little lemon or honey for a better flavor.  This will also help reduce your appetite.

You can make your pantyhose last longer by adding one tablespoon of vinegar to the rise water when washing them
