Melaleuca Oil / Niaouli Oil / Melaleuca Quinquenervia Oil

Bella Mira Essential Oil : Niaouli Essential Oil

Country Of Origin: Australia

Certification: Wild Crafted

Classification: melaleuca quinquenervia essential oil

Other Names: punk tree essential oil, cajeput essential oil, cajuput essential oil, broad leaved paperbark essential oil, paperbark, true niaouli essential oil, melaleuca quinquenervia essential oil,

Interesting Facts:  In Florida,  melaleuca is a pest, especially in the Everglades and surrounding areas, where the trees grow into immense forests, virtually eliminating all other vegetation. Melaleuca is a genus of plants in the myrtle family Myrtaceae. It currently contains 236 species, all of which occur in Australia. About 230 species are endemic to Australia. In particular, the paperbark tree Melaleuca alternifolia was dubbed the "tea tree" as its foliage when steeped in water produces a brown tincture faintly resembling tea to the early Europeans, although it was generally recognized to be only a very poor (and potentially toxic) substitute. Similarly small bodies of water near Melaleuca scrub are sometimes colored brown due to the seepage from the leaves.

Use: Niaouli essential oil appears anti-infectious, anti-bacterial, strong antiseptic (urinary, pulmonary, and intestinal). Niaouli essential oil is also anti-fungal (candida), anti-viral (includes “slow” virus), anti-parasitic, anti-catarrh, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, hepatic – cell stimulant, venous decongestant, anti-tumor (rectal cancer), radiation protective, hormone-like (action on hypothalamus, pituitary, adrenal axis, and ovarian-testicular system). Niaouli essential oil assists infections, male hormonal action, impotence, viral hepatitis, slow digestion, ulcers, intestinal parasites, malaria, rheumatoid arthritis, sinusitis, serious skin disease, acne, boils, and insect bites. Niaouli essential oil is beneficial for wrinkles, psoriasis, leprosy type ulcers (or itchy, scaly skin), collection of pus, gangrenous wounds, cold abscesses, scalp crusts, protects from deep burns in radiation (use pre and post radiation treatment), herpes, and shingles. It has been known to be helpful as an adrenal stimulant, stimulant for testicular action, for sluggish liver and pancreas problems, and an aid for arterial hypertension. Niaouli essential oil is very beneficial for all respiratory complaints, aids circulation, hemorrhoids, cold, fever, increases white blood cells, immuno-globulins and antibody activity.
