Interesting Facts:  Citrus pulp (3/4 being a by-product of orange juice extraction) is highly valued as pelleted stockfeed with a protein content of 6.58 to 7.03%, and it is also being marketed as cat litter. It is a source of edible yeast, non-potable alcohol, ascorbic acid, and hesperidin. Only oranges unfit for any other use are used for commercial orange juice. They are often very moldy. This is why I highly recommend juicing your own fresh organic oranges. The orange blossom, which is the state flower of Florida, is traditionally associated with good fortune, and was popular in bridal bouquets and head wreaths for weddings for some time.
