Ravintsara VS Ravensara: Ravensara aromatica is that plant that Ravensara comes from. Ravintsara is Cinnamomum Camphora. They are 2 different plants and have different uses and properties.

Cinnamomum camphora in Madagascar  is a very different species than the Camphor trees grown in Asia.  Rather than being high in Camphor, it is high in 1.8 Cineole eucalyptol, the plant chemical that give the various Eucalyptus oils their penetrating aroma. It is far safer for children and the elderly!
