Interesting Facts: The leaves are rose-scented and are used as a flavoring in desserts, jellies, vinegars. The fresh leaves are brewed into a tea. This is so closely scented to rose that is is often used to adulterate rose essential oil.

Use: Rose Geranium essential oil has been beneficial for acne, burns, bruises, broken capillaries, aids oily skin (balances all gland secretion), congested and mature skin, dermatitis, eczema, fungus, lice and ringworm. Rose Geranium essential oil also helps cellulite, cellular regeneration, wound healing especially after facial or plastic surgery, sore throat, tonsillitis, asthma, mucus, rheumatism, circulation, hemorrhoids, itching, immune stimulation, jaundice, liver tonic, gastritis, colitis, sterility, infertility (rub on back of both partners), hormonal disturbances (very effective), menopause, PMS, and engorged breasts. Rose Geranium essential oil may contain anticoagulant properties and may stimulate lymphatic system. Rose Geranium essential oil may be neuro-balancing, sedative, and anti-depressant, soothing for anxiety and stress reducing.
