Interesting Facts: Rosewood essential Oil is from a small evergreen tree, now a rare and precious oil. For every tree cut down, a new tree must be planted. It has a reddish bark and heartwood. It is used for building, carving and French cabinet-making. Synthetic linalol and more cheaply harvested natural sources of linalol are now more commonly used than Rosewood oil.
