Americans brush their teeth an average of 900 times each year. We all grow up learning that brushing helps remove plaque and food from the teeth, and that it also helps reduce the risk of tooth decay and gum disease. What many American’s don’t know is that the type of toothpaste they use during their morning and nightly brushing routines could be having negative effects on their teeth as well as their overall wellbeing.
The structure of tooth enamel is actually a fine matrix of tubules conveying nutrients from the outside to the inside of the tooth and visa versa. Brushing your teeth with Bella Mira Shine Toothpaste not only helps to prevent cavities, whitens teeth, and freshens breath, but because of the unique whole food mineral complex from Coral White Toothpaste above the sea fossilized stony coral minerals, it helps to re-mineralize the enamel. Coral is a sea animal that secretes a highly mineralized casing made from ocean minerals. Coral naturally contains every mineral the human body needs to function – in almost the identical proportions found within the human body. By formulating coral into a tooth-nutrient-paste, Bella Mira gives consumers an easy way to maintain and enhance their oral hygiene without harsh chemicals or artificial additives.

Toothpaste Does Not Contain Sodium Lauryl
Sulfate or Fluoride Sodium Lauryl Sulfate is used in such products as shampoos, toothpastes, and liquid soaps as a foaming and cleansing agent. Its controversy stems from the belief that it is highly toxic, highly irritating and carcinogenic. Sodium Lauryl Sulfate has been shown to penetrate and be retained in the eye, brain, heart, liver, etc. with potentially harmful long term effects being slower healing, cataracts in adults, and impaired eye development in children. Other research has shown that Sodium Lauryl Sulfate may cause potentially carcinogenic nitrates and dioxins to form within products, large amounts of which are then absorbed into the bloodstream. Fluoride has been positively linked with the prevention of tooth decay. However, according to the Public Health Service Department of Health and Human Services, overexposure to fluoride can be toxic and has also been associated with significant health conditions including cancer, dental floridities – characterized by the crumbling of enamel and eventual tooth decay – and bone fractures.
This acid wear phenomenon is readily apparent when observing teeth after death. When a body is buried, tooth decay stops even though bacteria flourishes. Tooth decay increases in an acidic environment. Using Bella Mira Shine Toothpaste with coral minerals (which contains 86% organic ionic calcium carbonate), will help shift the pH to alkaline and neutralize bacterial acids. In addition, along with frequent brushing and flossing, Bella Mira Shine Toothpaste aids in gum health.
Many toothpastes have corn, wheat or other gluten ingredients. Bella Mira Shine Toothpaste Does Not!
Bella Mira Shine Toothpaste Never Touches or Hurts The Ocean Above sea coral was a thriving reef thousands of years ago before it was geologically pushed up above the water. Through the eons of time layers of dust that slowly became layers of topsoil covered this above sea coral. This is the state of the coral before being harvested ; pristine white fossilized coral heads protected beneath a layer of soil. The actual harvesting process is similar to a typical sand or gravel quarry here in the United States. The soil is scraped away and the coral material is excavated. The pristine white coral material runs in horizontal layers, intermixed with other brown and gray material. Special care is taken to separate the white coral from the dirty material. After the white coral is separated, it is taken to the grinding facility where it undergoes a 3 stage grinding process before purification with ozone. Some prefer the harvesting of above sea coral for two reasons: 1. There were no pollutants from the industrial revolution resulting in high lead and other contamination in our fish, etc. hundreds of years ago when this coral was abundant and 2. The below sea living coral reefs are on the endangered species list and taking coral (dead or alive) from the ocean floors could harm the living reef. The mineral analyses of the different corals are nearly identical.
